Official launch of the Mt. Elgon Restoration Initiative
Restoring Our Lifeline, Honoring Our Hero – Mt. Elgon!
The Nation Mining Board Chairman Hon. Joseph Lagat, Chief Executive Officer Eng. Joseph Kitilit, together with board members and staff, joined PS Mining, Mr. Harry Kimtai, in the official launch of the Mt. Elgon Restoration Initiative under the theme:
“Mt. Elgon Our Lifeline, Our Hero: Restoring Landscapes and Improving Livelihoods.”
This noble exercise aligns with the Presidential Directive to plant 15 billion trees, reaffirming the mining sector’s commitment to environmental conservation and land reclamation. 
Together, we are working towards a greener, more sustainable future for our nation.
