He is a research and management consultant at Track Systems, a consultancy that conducts social research and designs programs for its clients. Kagwe has been involved in program design, costings and budgeting as well as monitoring and evaluation. He also runs private businesses in the agri-business sector.
Kagwe holds Bachelor of Science degree from University of Nairobi and has been also been confered Moran of the Burning Spear
