Mwenda is the Managing Partner at Mwenda Kaumbuthu & Co. Advocates, a premier Nairobi based law firm offering niche services in corporate/commercial law, conveyancing and civil litigation. Robin leads a team with specialized expertise at offering legal advice in complex business to business (B2B) related transactions.

He is also an accomplished businessman who sits in the boards of three private companies with operations in the Great Lakes Region. Robin was instrumental, together with other founder-directors, in coming up with a vision to establish the regional presence of these private companies dealing in Oil & Gas, Airline & Charter Services and Value-Added Services (VAS) in the Telecommunications industry. Robin is also Credited for spearheading the three private companies to attain a portfolio of investment valued at over a hundred million dollars.

Mwenda holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honors) from the University of Nairobi and a Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law, he is an Advocate of the High court of Kenya, Commissioner for Oaths and Notary Public.
Mwenda is a member of the Law Society of Kenya and the Business Premises Rent Tribunal Bar Bench Committee.
